Our history
The Sycuan Band of the Kumeyaay Nation is a federally recognized tribe of Mission Indians located in San Diego County, California. They are one of the 12 Kumeyaay bands, with ancestral lands spanning from the Pacific Ocean to the Colorado River. The Sycuan Band has been living in the Dehesa Valley area for approximately 12,000 years.
